Nod First pilot agreement
One page, plain English. Version 2026-08-31. Numbers match the pilot and pricing pages: 30 days, three clients, $1,550 per care-manager seat per year.
The pilot
Thirty days, three of your clients, free. You pick the three clients and the care managers who work with them. We set the pilot up on a call in week one, you dictate a note after every visit in weeks two to four, and on day 31 you decide. There is nothing to pay during the pilot and no card on file.
What Nod First promises
- The product works as shown in your demo: the caseload, the client record, note capture, family requests, the family's approve-or-decline screen, and the record of who said yes, when, to what words.
- Nothing spends a client's money or touches a medication without a recorded family yes. Routine items go on the plan; the rest waits.
- Set-up in one call, and a person on the phone. Georgiy answers hello@nodfirst.com and 415 747 7954 during the pilot. Not a ticket queue.
- A weekly 20-minute check-in, four in total, where you tell us what broke and what you need. We fix what we can inside the pilot and say plainly what we can't.
- Your data is yours. On day 31, whichever way you decide, you get a full export (every client, task, request, approval and note) as a file you can open without us.
What your firm promises
- Three real clients and their families, with the consent your firm already holds to share their care information with a tool you use. You are the covered party; we act on your instructions.
- A named decision-maker for each family, invited from the product, who is told what Nod First is and that a text with a link will arrive.
- The care managers actually dictate, after every visit, for the three weeks it runs. If they stop, the pilot failed and we both say so.
- One list at the end: the moments in those 30 days when something needed doing and no family member could be reached. That list is what we build next.
Data handling
- Nod First runs on servers we control (our own database, sign-in and language model). A client's care information is not sent to a third-party AI service. Error monitoring runs with personal data switched off, and there is no analytics vendor and nothing is sold.
- Data is encrypted in transit and backed up daily. Backups are kept for 30 days after the pilot ends and then deleted.
- Only your invited staff and the family members you invite can see a household. Georgiy can see your data only to support the pilot, and says so when he does.
- Health information: if your firm is a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, tell us before set-up and we sign a business associate agreement before any client is entered. If you'd rather not, the pilot runs on the three clients with the consent you hold, and we treat the data as confidential either way.
- On day 31, if you don't continue: export sent to you first, then every row of yours deleted within seven days, and we confirm in writing.
Money, and after day 30
- The pilot is free. No card, no invoice, nothing owed if you walk away.
- If you continue: $1,550 per care-manager seat per year, billed yearly, clients and family members unlimited. Price holds for a year from your start date.
- We don't extend pilots. Day 31 is a yes or a no, and either is fine.
Cancel any time
Either side can end the pilot on any day by email. The export and the deletion above happen the same way, on the same timeline.
